There I go

Image
You take a lot of risks and make a lot of sacrifices when you like someone. At least that's what I do when I find a new crush. This time I waited to tell this one boy that I liked him. I made a homemade valentine's card along with some other treats. I would leave lunch early just to walk and talk with him in the hallways. He always waited for me to walk to lunch together. I thought there has to be some potential. But he ended up just hurting me in the end. While we have a good friendship. He ended up putting off the no for the next day after valentine's day. Which I recommend doing it just ends up hurting the person.      I am learning that I shouldn't try to live up to the standard of "being in a relationship in high school". I should be fulfilling myself with God's words and not what some boy I like.

It Was A Hard Right Choice

It Was A Hard Right Choice                               I am continuing my story of letting go of that one person. I only left on I have to see them again even after our misunderstandings. I really wanted to hold onto this one good friend because they always gave great beneficial advice. Advice that helps you grow as a person or encourages you to keep going on.   But mainly having friends around you that help you grow are the ones that make a huge impact into who you are of course.

Taking Words of Others

Image
Taking Words of Others                         I feel like everyone in life has taken some sort of words negative and positive. As you grow up you learn that words can either have a lot of weight but also lose weight. If it is repeated more than once. But it is really difficult for anyone to take negative hurtful words.  You really have to learn to build up a stronghold or have something to or someone to lean on. Either way words can hurt so much. Knowing what words are true and what words aren’t. Our Heavenly Father has a lot to say about this and all encouraging. So it is important to be strong in him I learn. But also to not just ignore people’s negative words. Acknowledge them in a way where you can identify them and if they really fit who you are.

Misery into Ministry

Image
Anyone Going through a Storm right now?     When we struggle sometimes we can only see the bad parts of how horrible it everything is. I challenge you to take your struggles and learn from them. Don´t just cry about them! See what you can use from these storms to make them into rainbows. We can all maybe one day pull someone out the of the darkness we went through :) TURNING YOUR MISERY into MINISTRY

Letting Go

Letting That Person Go                                 Just as everyone has ¨crushes¨ I also recently had one that just went south.I went to homecoming with this friend that I have talked to for awhile now and it was a lot of fun. As time went on we both started to like each other. But I was the one who ended up pursing and asking him out. He never told if he liked me or not until a misunderstanding came up. Still I put twice as much effort into him because I liked him so much. He had a lot of good qualities that I thought were attractive. But he could not get over that misunderstanding so we never went out. Realistically I should be looking for a guy who loves God and also truly likes me. Not someone who is afraid and has different beliefs. It was really sad to let him go because I truly loved him so much. I f...

End of the Year Thoughts

Image
😏 Cheers to a new year everyone! I hope that you not only take a moment to reflect but also take a moment to celebrate all that you accomplished big or small. I think its super important to not only celebrate your big accomplishments but your small accomplishments can mean a lot more than you would think! Somethings that I have learned this year is to be careful with overcommitting and stopping and smelling the roses. I learned a lot more about friendships and as well as just myself of course. God has definitely helped me realize how much support I have around me. Reminding me about how loved I am. Even though there was a lot of downs this year there was also a lot of bright things that have come into my life 💕

Hello  everyone! My name is Naomi Yeo. I am currently 15 years old will be 16 in April 2022! I created this blog page to share my thoughts about life and things I learn along the way! I will be sharing personal stories so please take note of that! Some things you should know about me is that I love God, friends, family, and music. I hope to grow my page ever so more and I can not wait! One last thing I would like the mention is that I titled this website ¨Broken Beautifully¨ because in reality that is what we all are broken but beautiful! Just because something is broken does not mean it can not hold beauty.
